In 1996, after completing two studies, Technical Computer Science and Business Administration, Peter came across Uniface. Since then, he has completed many successful projects with Uniface.

In 2003, he founded his first cooperative organisation. In 2008, he started Unividuals, an organisation of self-employed Uniface professionals.

Besides Unividuals, Peter rented out offices for a while, owned an espresso bar and co-owned a coffee label with his partner Mascha.

Peter has since moved more in the direction of coach and mentor. Both within the Uniface world and beyond.

More recently, he founded KrijgGrip, his coaching and accountability practice in Bussum. KrijgGrip helps people with ADHD, and those who recognise themselves in it, to turn intentions into action, at the office, walking on the Bussumerheide, or online.

On the technical side, Peter actively explores how AI is changing Uniface development. By combining Claude Code with Uniface’s modern version control, he brings contemporary developer practices to a language that has powered enterprise software for decades.
