Unividuals started as a cooperative. All affiliated entrepreneurs were co-owners of the organization. While we’ve since moved away from that formal structure, the spirit remains the same. We still refer to ourselves as members, because that’s what it feels like: being part of a like-minded community. Today, we operate as a platform built by and for Uniface professionals.

As a freelancer, it’s valuable to belong somewhere. That was one of the founding motivations behind Unividuals for our founder, Peter Lammersma: to create a place where independent developers could have something like colleagues — but without a boss.
Together, we are stronger. Unividuals has grown into one of the leading Uniface service providers in the world. Maybe even the number one. And the great thing is: as an individual, you likely wouldn’t reach that position on your own — but as a collective, we can. Through Unividuals, you gain access to opportunities that would be out of reach for most freelancers.
We keep our organization intentionally flat and informal. No management layers. Peter handles organization, Jan takes care of commercial matters, and everything else is based on collaboration, trust, and personal initiative.
What you get out of Unividuals depends on what you put in. If you show commitment, you’ll receive it in return. If you approach others cooperatively, you’ll find a valuable professional (and often personal) network.
There’s no membership fee. When you work through Unividuals, we manage the contract and apply a mediation fee. Everything is transparent and agreed in advance.
We use three-party agreements: Unividuals acts as the broker, you are responsible for the content of your work, and the client is the end customer. We handle time registration and invoicing on your behalf — a service that lets you focus on what you do best: delivering great Uniface work.
Our clients are located all over the world, so your physical location is not a limitation. We welcome Uniface freelancers from anywhere — as long as you’re skilled in your craft and open to collaboration.
We also stay close to the latest developments in Uniface, including insights directly from Rocket Software. Through Unividuals, you’re always in the loop with what’s happening in your field.
We offer two levels of membership:
You’ve completed at least one project through Unividuals.
You’re an independent freelancer with at least 10 years of Uniface experience.
You receive a Unividuals email address and may use the Unividuals name in your communications.
You have Uniface experience, but either less than 10 years or no project via Unividuals yet.
Your profile will appear on our website.
You don’t yet receive a Unividuals email address, but you’re already part of the network.
